I can't stand the cold in the UK, maybe it's time to move to a hotter climate! I have even put the heat on this evening for the first time.

It's colder for September than it normally is. I have got the heating on now too, normally the end of October before I think about it. I thought I would just test the boiler as it has a habit of packing up and I have to get them out, so it's stayed on whilst it's working! It could be the signs of a bad winter, my dogs have not seen snow yet and they're 2 years old

Sometimes I feel like the only one who enjoys winter. I look forward to comfortable days sitting with a cup of tea and a book whilst the rain lashes against the windows.

Plus, the big one I forgot to mention. Any species I keep in the ant-house is in hibernation, which is usually native species anyway.
