I have just added a brand new page to my ant site The page is called "Ants I Keep" and is entirely about my own personal ant colonies. It is not intended to be a journal, but will be updated from time to time with new info and pics

Site Update Info Today I have done a few changes to my Ant Hill Wood site. There is a new page added called "Myrmecology Knowledge" which will contain useful ant info. You will also find that the cricket sports template has gone, and this has been replaced by a more relaxing one. Personally I like the new look as it is easy to navigate, and it looks good too, so I hope visitors to my site will find it warm and welcoming The old site URL of anthill.org.uk still seems to be working for some odd reason, but the new site URL address is linked to my signature picture just in case anyone has a problem finding it

I have recently added a new page called "Ant Gallery" to my site. On it you will find I am placing any nice clear photos of ants, taken by members of this forum who live around the world. My thanks go to Akaant for giving his kind permission for me to use his ant pics If any of you guys have photos which you'd like to see exhibited on my site, then please PM or email me at} woodant77@aol.comI am always happy to use great ant photos, and if you do want me to use yours, please let me know the species name and perhaps where you may have found them (Not necessarily the exact location, but which part of your country they live in?); and also give me your name or alias that you'd like your photos to be credited under Jenant has been busy taking pics of Lasius niger on the cornflowers which grow in our garden, so some of these will be appearing on my site soon, like the one at the head of Ant Hill World, which was also taken by Jen

For those of you with younger brothers or sisters, or anyone with children of their own, I have done a new Ant Story page (3) on my site. While the new story is about old age and death, it does have a happy ending suitable for reading as a bedtime story for any small kiddies you might wish to read to them

Sadly I had to remove some of the photos from my site recently due to going over my bandwidth I have revamped the site over this past weekend, so now you will find that pages which were visible on the navigation bar are now sub-pages inside main pages on the site. By clicking on a certain page, this will open those hidden sub-pages and these can be viewed normally. There is no longer a links page on my site, as most of the sites listed are well known and links to many can be found here on the forum. Enjoy my newly added sub-pages, as they still contain lots of ant photos and valuable myrmecology information

My Ant Hill Wood site now has a large green "Contact Me" button on the right side of each, and a link page also to this. It opens a contact form where visitors can leave their name, email (their phone number if they wish) and a message. This in only a trial for 14 days, as if it works no better than people emailing me normally then I won't bother keeping it. This will still go through to my woodant77@aol.com address, but will save time for anyone who has a quick message about my site. Please Note: I prefer to give out a lot of information on ant related things here on the forum, but any query which requires a brief, quick and easy answer will be given my attention, as long as I am not bombarded with too many questions from the same person

Anyone who has recently tried to access my site on the old domain URL will find it no longer works. While this is sad, the good news is I have moved my site to an entirely new domain, and from now on you can find this at} www.anthillwood.com/index.asp

I have revamped my Ant Links page today as for some reason the categories were showing up white with yellow text. I have removed them and now just have links. If anyone can think of any good ant site links that are reputable for ant sales, knowledge or whatever, please feel free to forward the URL to me either in a PM or email.
