Thanks those giant locust are incredibly tough though after almost being completely decapitated with tweezers which was a real struggle as they are very strong I had to put it in hot water to finish it off it was very unpleasant experience and originally they was for my brothers giant Chinese mantis which seems very cautious of them which is pretty understandable considering their strength and size. Just to give you and idea of their strength I think they could prize your hand open if you tried to grasp them no exaggeration it was like trying to pin down one of those face huggers from alien I just hope their experience of pain is not like ours.

Yes they are very strong but not quite that strong I feed them to my turantulas and my scorpion but then again they are very strong and 2 of my turantulas are very wary of them.

Wow, great photos mate! particualrly like the last one! And as for the locusts, they're from the same family as cockroaches, so they're bound to be a handful! These pics are really amazing, you're a talented photographer nestmate! Nathan
