So what other pets do you have? I currently am keeping: 1 Garter Snake, growing well, just came out of hibernation and ate a fish yesterday (first in 3 months). ~35 Goldfish (got for free at a local "carnival" as they were packing up, they needed to get rid of them so I took some. Yes they are food for my snake). 1 Goldfish (too small for a feeder, and I'll make him big and strong before becoming a meal for my snake) 1 Male beta. Bought him today, was in Wal-Mart and saw the white beta, and he's so plain he's cool. Everyone has a green/red/blue/purple one so I got a white one 1 Doggy. Arf Arf, big white fullfy doggy I named nitro, german shepard mix, all white. Cute puppy yay! As many of you may know, I had a hampster, named peekabo. Funny little thing, chased my hand around when I cleaned her cage, and was always vicious, perfect type of hampster for me. (I don't like tame hampsters). Well, she died earlier this week, few days before that she wouldn't come out of her house, and I came home and found a horrible stench which I knew was one of my pets, I checked my snake which was fine, and found my hampster inside the little hut, dead. Oh well... At least now I can finally get a long awaited lizard Hopefully a bearded dragon to replace the last 2 I had. One of which died of age, the other of some form of disease.

Someone has read my mind, as I was only thinking yesterday about starting a topic on pets ;D We used to have a Garter snake, until one time it bit Jenant and died 7 days later (does this tell us something I wonder? ) We also had a German Shepherd some years back, but sadly she's no longer with us Living in small flat/apartment does limit us for many of the larger pets; but things like caged birds or fish are fine, as are cats and very small dogs

Hehe, garter snakes are funny. They are so misunderstood. My garter was wild caught, and was so hostile that I couldn't pick him up for capture without using a large branch to help me grab him behind the head ;(. After slowly letting him get used to me, I don't have a lot of problems; unless I go a long period of time without handleing him. Otherwise I have no problems bringing him out and showing him around a bit.

Snakes scare the out of me. I hate how the slither around, and how they look all slick but they are not. Frightens me. Harry Potter must not be scared of them

Kevin, I have returned your images back to an url, due to their size for this forum. Some of them are not working so please check links before leaving the post. To have them open on here, I need them to be resized on an editer or like other members tend to use "PHOTOBUCKET" as they are very reliable. When resized they don't create a scroll bar and reduces the loading time. You have some good pets there and some great pics, which is why we need them all working
