Thought that insects from other countries far away from Britain were a long way away? Well you're wrong, as the invasion is already here with yet more to come British Invasion

Fascinating, especially the new ants we're getting. We can't say that British only has relatively ordinary ants now. The redback spider has to be the only dangerously venomous spider we have right now.

Sounds like if some of these ants get a hold as far north as Lancashire then they could wipe out some of our native ants in some places

Sounds like if some of these ants get a hold as far north as Lancashire then they could wipe out some of our native ants in some places I didn't think of that! I was excited at the thought of being able to catch and observe these exotic species which would normally be very expensive to buy, but I forgot that they would try and displace our native ones.
