How would you fancy one of these big guys perched on your shoulder? I thought the rhinoceros beetles were big, but this guy must be a real heavyweight  Elephant Beetle Information |

brilliant animal!
The only beetles I've ever had was some small Cetoniidae, but last week I went to an insect fair in Italy (Entomodena) and I bought some bigger beetles, a couple of Mecynorrhina polyphemus adults (hopefully I'll be able to breed them) and two Goliathus goliathus L3 larvae.

It looks bigger in the picture than wiki says. In the picture at least 10 inches it only says 4.5 inch on wiki.
