Our 2 Cavalier spaniels are jumping at the fireworks already. In fact 1 of them Bess is absolutely petrified and hides under the bed. In the vets the other day they were encouraging people to make hide away places for them to go. They were advertising calming medicine too, but not sure that it has much effect on Bess. It's times like now she hunts Wood down no matter what room he hides in, only dad will do, any other time she is all for me. I guess it's an alpha male thing. They have been going off tonight round here, now being sold as well over the next couple of months. Taking Bess out in the dark is going to be a challenge night and morning as she has a memory like an elephant.

Luckily my dogs are not bothered by fireworks which is good as I set a few off for my boys on bonfire night and special occasions as they love them. We only have the little fountain ones which are nice for them to watch.
