I caught today what appears to be another formica cunicularia queen but she still has her wings and she behave weirdly so I'm not sure she is mated, and one other queen smaller, I would say Lasius niger but she has her legs red so I don't know I'll post pictures of the 5 new queens I caught today and yesterday

The first one might be Formica fusca ?

That first queen is intriguing as she appears to have a reddish head. Not sure what she is, but looks like it could be a Formica species.

The first one is a parasitic Lasius species, maybe Lasius umbratus, she will need a host colony within the next couple of days or will die. The other queens look like Formica sp. and the last looks like Lasius niger but will need a microscope to determine all of them.

Ok thanks a lot She could very well be indeed Lasius umbratus, in that case what species should I provide to her ? Any Lasius ? Can I provide her with brood or she must kill a queen ?

No I would introduce her to a queenless colony of Lasius niger. I have introduced them to colonies with both queens or no queens, the results are different nearly everytime. This species has a very high failure rate. Do a search on here you should find some info on Lasius umbratus, I tried a few times last year and the year before I think. Videos and info should be on here.

Ok so I see some possible actions :
- I could introduce her to one of my Lasius niger colonies (I curretly have two)
- I could get Lasius niger workers and cool them and introduce the queen to them
- I could get brood of Lasius niger and put them with the queen
I don't want to risk one of my colonies so I'll probably add her workers
I think I'll get some workers from outside like 10-20 cool them down and introduce them to the queen. I'll try to find her brood too.

I have 20-30 Lasius niger workers but can't find brood.. will the workers die before the queen will have her own workers ?

I introduced one of the workers that has been cut in half on the process of getting them, there was a fight between her and the queen. The queen was a bit scared.. she doesnt seem like a fighter ^^ but she killed the worker !
