Surprised no one's going for that last Carebara diversa colony, since their price has now been reduced to £55! Personally I like the look of those Solenopsis tipuna, but I think I have enough ants for the moment.

I would get them but don't have a big set up for them if I did You could always expand it gradually as they grow? That's what I plan on doing.

I thought of the Diversa, as they'd be £8.50 off the original price (I think), but would have to wait until I was home first.

15% is a good discount, and Chris has done this before; but I have no more nests available so my ant collection is now full.

I would get them but don't have a big set up for them if I did How big of a set up do you need? I've seen the ones that are entire rooms with huge interconnecting tanks, but what size do you start with? Or do they always need a huge amount of running space?

They don't need a huge amount of space initially; the colonies you probably saw were more than likely a couple years old and fully established. Its usually best to give ants just the right amount of space they need and expand outwards, to make sure that colony members don't get lost etc. I'd recommend looking at TenebrousNovas Diversa journal if you want an estimate of set-up size for the kind of size colony antsrus are offering
