Hello there and welcome Brokenbigman, good name as it makes you sound like a native American Indian warrior. Whether you're a novice or not to ant keeping, you will find loads of quality information on this forum. Wood Ant has been an experienced ant keeper and studied ants in the wild for 57 years now, and we have had several guys who started here who became quite knowledgeable. I found help at first from Ant Hill Wood site and Myrm's Ant Nest, but have been able to help a lot by joining this forum run by Jenny. You've certainly done the right thing by joining us here.
I teach people how to look after ants, I rehabilitate ants.
