this colony is amazing, I didn't know tetra would allow so many fertilized queens in 1 nest!

This video just shows that what I always thought to be a monogynous species, is very much the opposite; but as many myrmicine ants are more often than not polygynous, it does make sense that colonies of this genus will have several queens per nest/colony. Great to watch though, as the keeper is evidently homing this colony in what appears to be a plaster nest set up

wow since tetras are very common where I live I should try keeping 2 queens in 1 tube I never actualy knew they allowed so many queens It is also a very nice colony
