The males? Could be months. After a mating flight, they shortly die after.

She will maybe live a year or so, but without any workers of her own she will be of little use. Some winged ants can be mated, but wings get in the way, and if she isn't mated what can you do with her? Release her or use her as food for other ants perhaps

Well she ripped her wings off, I wonder if she's fertile. I'll have to wait and see.

Place her in a small container of moist medium, put her somewhere quiet and dark and wait

Perfect till the first batch of workers are ready to forage. Put away in a dark, quiet place till then.
But check after a week to see if she has laid!
Then just place them into an ant farm of your choice or fish tank if your looking for a big colony!

She should lay within the next week or two keep her in a dark place check if she has laid and once the eggs hatch place her into a small tub with a fly maybe or some honey ;D good luck
