I have some birds coming back up north and took a bunch of pictures. I have seen a pair of northern cardinals, a pair of downy wood peckers (black striped birds), 3 blue jays, some robins, and one bird I have never seen before. All those little birds we usually call sparrows but I know the black ones are a different species. Fell free to post pictures of your bird feeders!
Lovely bird pictures ant, you have good magnification on your camera My neighbours bird feeder gets all the cats sitting under it ours included, they take it in turns to change shifts! We have a wood just across from us, and we see loads of wildlife from our livingroom window
Yah, I love my camera! But, I need a better lens to take pictures of my ants. I found out the last one is a starling! They are invasive and are lowering populations of native birds. At least the blue jays have been keeping most of them away from the feeders. Also, I think I have solution for your neighbors problem. Do they have a second floor? They could make a fake branch that holds their feeder with some perches for birds and place the end in a flag pole slot. That way no cats can get at them. That starling was annoying though, I only got 5 minutes of pictures until that thing came in and scared away all the robins and chickadees.
