I don't have the sundew plants any longer, though I have grown both Sundews and Venus Fly traps from seeds in the past, and also a few Sarracenia Trumpet/Pitcher plants. Here are our current carnivorous plants ready to catch any flying insect that gets in through our open kitchen window.

Most garden centres are selling far less indoor plants now and sell more gifts and hardware. Our local one only had a few Venus Fly Traps and they looked half dead. You must have to travel to find good garden centres selling healthy plants, and none of them stock Butterworts or more exotic sundews.

Try Little shop of horrors online, this is where I ordered mine, they sent it in the post and arrived intact, no problems!

Love the colours of your new plants. Yes they are a good size for the money and the pitchers are nicer than the flowers. Not that they are big enough to flower yet, and they bloom in April/May normally.

Jen treated me to a Parrot Pitcher Plant (Sarracenia psittacina) at a local garden centre we have just visited. Here is a photo (not taken by us) of the plant.

New photos of my little collection, with a close up of the Parrot Pitcher. That is quite a collection you have there, I specially love the Cape Sundew (yours looks really healthy). Also in your recent pictures is that a Mimosa Pudica I see in the bottom right corner of the second picture ?

Yes it is the Sensitive Plant. Well spotted Typhon. I knew it! xD I've been trying to grow one for ages but I must be doing something wrong, because everytime I plant one it grows a few cm over 2 weeks and then just dies :/
