I come home from work today and have had to bury our lovely white canary in the back garden. He was getting old, but he had seen the winter through and was just starting to sing a bit with the warmer weather. He was such a good singer too in his younger days.
Still I guess when your time is up; I have placed him under the Wiegelia tree amongst the Bluebells, with a stone to mark the spot and to stop my 2 cats from digging him up
