I come home from work today and have had to bury our lovely white canary in the back garden. He was getting old, but he had seen the winter through and was just starting to sing a bit with the warmer weather. He was such a good singer too in his younger days. Still I guess when your time is up; I have placed him under the Wiegelia tree amongst the Bluebells, with a stone to mark the spot and to stop my 2 cats from digging him up

He may have only been "Frosty" the canary, but he used to chirp hello to me each morning; and it is more like losing a close friend or family member than just a pet As you guys can imagine, we are rather sad and devastated by his death just as British Summer Time is due to start

I am sorry to hear of your loss. It is hard to lose a part of the family.
My condolences,
Ryan
