My Temnothorax queen will not leave the foraging pot and join her workers and brood in the cork nest. I have gently placed her in there a few times and she reunites with them but, everytime I look in a couple of hours time she is just sitting alone in the foraging pot...
I'm not really sure what to do...
Maybe I should remove the foraging pot for a couple of days and place her with the workers?

That sounds like the best plan of action, as then at least she won't have the foraging pot to retreat into and be segregated from her colony Of course it may be that she has taken a dislike to the cork nest and doesn't want to live there, in which case she will never settle if she feels uncomfortable

Well I've taken away the pot and she has joined the workers now rather than stay in the tubing which is what I feared Hopefully solved although I will of course have to stick a new foraging box on soon as they have no access to protein foods only sugar water.
