At 2AM this morning the time in the UK was moved back by 1 hour from BST (British Summer Time) to GMT (Greenwich Meant Time). But I wonder if anyone here in Britain forgot that they get an extra hour in bed? Of course the change of time means it gets darker an hour earlier at night, but as nights grow shorter anyway during the winter here, it makes very little difference; but to be honest I would prefer to be warmer during our summer time than suffer the cold of winter. Winter has less to offer than a nice warm long summer day, so roll on next March when we can again change time to move on an hour here in merry old England, as these darker times ahead make a lot of people feel very SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and I happen to be among them

Oh yes, I did, was meant to be at work and on site by 0500, I didn't get there till 0600 . The cold winter nights are certainly on there way, more so just before sun rise, when you really start to feel the chill.
