You just need to give her time alone and she will start firing out the eggs. What exactly does your project need to contain?

It may take her some time to lay eggs, but she will very soon I'm sure. How long have you got before your college project is due?

Yeah Ice you where right, she has finally reappeared and she is in over drive digging her nest, and she has completely sealed the hole to the tunnel. Perfectly normal behaviour for a Messor barb queen Robert, as these ladies are mostly fully claustral in the very early stages of colony foundation. Leave her to settle down and in a week or 2 she should have laid a nice clutch of eggs.
