One of the best videos I've shot so far I think. I thought I would video the Lasius Niger feasting on the strawberry patch in the gardern, they sure do love their sugary foods. I also put this website link in the description below.

Didn't see them eating strawberries?? Also have strawberries in my garden and the Nigers here are doing the same as in your video. I wonder if the plant is not producing something to keep the Nigers present. Perhaps to ward off pests or parasites that would ruin a crop. Still, that said and done it is a great video and well shot..

They are most likely hunting for insect life on the plants, such as aphids or little caterpillars and the like.

Luckily the Aphids havnt found the strawberries yet, but there are certenally a lot of spiders around that area.

I never new I had this lense untill a few minuets ago when I tested it, I thought it was 1 lense but turned out that it was a macro and a 0.67x wide lense together. This is the result of just the macro lense and the results speak for themselfs. If I hadnt shaken the ipad so much I think it would have turned out better, but if you pause in certain areas I think its ok and ill definatly be using this lense in future videos without as much shaking of corse.

Nice video.
Gave you a thumbs up too.
If your camera has a screw fitting on the bottom you can buy a camera stand which will stop the shaking. Will be getting one myself very soon.

If you have a Poundland store not too far away, they sell a very small lightweight aluminium tripod for digital cameras and small camcorders. Only cost £1 so a real bargain.
