Yes I have, Dover castle is supposed to be one of them It does make you wonder when you wander down dungeons like Wood and I have done in the past. Warwick castle has a great one, and they still have their rack as well, of which used to be placed the human body to be stretched for torture:P Some hospitals I have worked in including the very ward I am on now is known to be haunted. But then I think most old places are. I always say it is not the dead you have to worry about, it's the living ;D

Although I think that spirits exist I find it hard to believe the television show. All the evidence they use to show the existence of spirits is ambiguous. Such as the floating orbs which could be any object in the room reflecting light. Or in one episode they had a beer drum roll down a hallway which had been "pushed" by a spirit. It's kinda hard to believe that being shown on television. These stunts could be a way to provide better ratings but without the reality. Good show though .

I can't say I've actually witnessed a spirit but their are a lot of times when I'm in a back room and there is the sense of a presence. Although one time I had knocked my wall when trying to get to sleep and there was a knock back. That was the most frightening thing I've experienced. There was a really good chance it was just my house shrinking and expanding but this seemed like too much of a coincidence .

On my ward, staff have witnessed a watchman disappear with a lamp through a wall. Also a lady dressed in a cape in like a 19th century long dress and bonnet, float through the wall and down the stairs. These old hospitals are full of haunting stories, and they are full of spirits and not the drinking kind either.

It doesn't need to be a huge castle or even old to be haunted. I have a few ghost stories to tell, I know a few I actually experienced and ARE true...one or two are from my mom. I was living in apartments (they weren't exactly new, but were about 5 years maybe) and one night I suddenly woke up at 2:00 AM (and it wasn't a dream at all). All around the room were ghosts (remember, it was an apartment, one bedroom and was kinda small) most were maids wearing aprons and three men sitting on the couch seeming to be watching tv. All of them were talking and laughing but I couldn't hear them. There was one ghost lady that seemed friendly and putting some blanket over me that I couldn't see. Then this guy (like a gangster guy) hunched over a little wearing a leather black jacket (I couldn't really tell it was leather but it probably was because it was black) walked through the entrance door. I jumped up after being under my covors and ran to turn on all the lights. (I was like 8 or 9, maybe 10 at the time) and fell asleep on the couch with the TV on. Later I found out someone killed himself next door to us just a few days later and much later when I finally told my parents my mom said the chairs at the dining table were always everyday pulled back an inch (exactly an inch). That was freaky and never saw ghosts like that again. Another story that combines I and my moms story. My mom lived in my great great granddads house when she was a kid/teenager and would always hear voices calling her to one room. These voices sounded like her dads friends or even her dad voice (my grandpa) she would go in and see the lights on and open the door and it would be VERY cold and nothing in it. That same house I went there a lot to spend the night and my grandparents and one night I was about to fall asleep and heard a very loud voice say: Cody! (My name) and it sounded very angry...I always felt that house was creepy. The house was VERY old so heh. Well thats my stories...since this is about haunted

When I was a baby many moons ago, I would only sleep well with a soft cuddly toy (a duck or rabbit, I forget which) placed beside me in my cot. One night my parents heard me crying, so they came into my room thinking that perhaps the toy had dropped off onto the floor. Now my mum said it was always by my pillow, but on this night it was not They searched the entire room; but the toy was nowhere to be found. Knowing that I would not sleep without a toy, my dad got me his old teddy bear and once this was placed in the cot with me, I went to sleep. Exactly 7 days after this, my dad decided to paint my room; and you can imagine his shock when he found my missing toy sitting on the middle of my cot. Other spookay things happened in that old house too I have found out since! Then we moved to the house where my mum still lives to this day, and my dad used to cycle home from the hospital where he worked. One November evening about 9pm, he came down the path that passed by the old peat bog. This was a really weird place at night, as there wasn't any lighting and the mists would swirl around the marsh. He says the bicycle lamp showed an old lady walking a small dog suddenly appear on the path, and although he braked hard, he could not stop and went right through this ghostly apparition, which really put the wind up him He arrived home as cold as ice and deathly white, even though it was a mild night, as he said it felt freezing when he went through this spectre! It had quite frightened him, as he said the old lady was not just a figment of his imagination and was really there in his path Being me and a bit sceptical, I went to look for myself, as it was only a 5 minute walk away; but of course I found nothing. So, was it a ghost or just the mist? My dad also encountered the Grey Lady, which was the ghost of a hospital matron who floated through the doors of the main operating theatre, and this was collaborated by another person, a young female nurse who was going up the staircase to the surgical ward. She asked my dad who the mysterious figure was just as it passed right through the heavy rubber doors of the operating theatre I believe my dad was a bit of a medium perhaps, as he often had encounters with this particular ghost Although I personally have never seen a ghost, this does not mean I don't believe in them. There are many strange forces in this vast universe which may never be explained; and as the human brain runs on pure electrical energy, which cannot be destroyed and is only dispersed back into the life force from which it came; then perhaps this is what the meaning of life and having an "eternal soul" is really what it's all about Let's face it, it really does not make much sense for just 1 planet out of countless billions to be the main hub of the universe and the only place where life exists, now does it?

???There's a chance of anything, personally I believe as I said. My uncle and aunt both say there flat is haunted with things missing a lot, voices and sightings. Also I believe in aliens. I read an article on it a few weeks ago. That they have found 5 stars where aliens could be.

I once stayed in a 500 year old cottage in Cornwall with my family when I was about fourteen. From the moment I went in that cottage I knew there was something strange about it, was actually 3 small farm worker cottages converted into one large one (homes were much smaller back then). Anyway allsorts of things happened, me Nan was awoken by the feeling of someone laying down on the bed next to her, my dad went for a slash in the early hours leaving the hallway light on and a shadow of someone walking past was cast on the toilet wall. Things would be in different places from where we left them after returning from the beach. I didn’t sleep well in that place I didn’t enjoy the holiday much and I got into a fight with some local lads.

I used to live in Condos (I moved about 3 years ago) and would always see shadows along the walls and ONLY when I was alone. Also one night I went into my parents bedroom to sleep cause I was pretty spooked out and we had crickets chirping. Someone said that it seemed strange and all of a sudden a second after the crickets suddenly stopped making noise.
Also I saw an Indian looking man through my television when it was off. He was looking at me through the closet door (it was a glass mirror type door that slid into a small closet) and he looked like he was mad or something. This was in the same Condos.
Thats more stories that I can think of. And stuff I experienced personally.
