I can see them all perfectly in the little nest they are in I could watch them for hours if the kids let me. I’ve been putting a few drops of water on the soil from the top every 2-3 days but they still haven’t came out to the foraging pot but I’m guessing that will all change when the eggs hatch, there are a lot of eggs. How long do they take to hatch anyway? This will answer your question Ant Brood Development

Aah, this is how you make a post! Anyway, my old Fusca's egg development usually took about 3 weeks Now I have a Pheidole pallidulia colony and there development takes about 2 weeks. Hope this helps!

I can try and take some pics of my Pheidole colony if you want? But how do you upload them? Also, have you found out weather your 'jar' ants have a queen yet?

On each post box there is now an Imageshack photo loader, or you can use another photo host such as Photobucket if you have an account (free to join). Simply copy and paste the image link URL onto your post.

Hey, horrible. They are pretty good! Don't like them my brother and dad has one but they have had nothing but problems lol. I got a Macbook and ipod but thats as far as I will go with Apple
