Jen has just had a new SLR Nikon camera. We got it to replace an old one which was way out of date and over 10 years old, and as I liked the look of this new model and what it does, we decided to buy it. The camera is the Nikon D3200 Digital SLR, and here are some of the photos Jen took in our garden. You just have to love the pure beauty of life.

Some very nice photos :-) I've gone down the Canon route :-p the 600d for me as my first DLSR and I got to say what a cracking bit of kit. I'll try and upload some pics soon.
What lens you use for the photos?

That was my first try with it, so things might improve as I get used to it. These cameras only do close up though and not macro. I refuse to buy another lense at the cameras price again, which is what you need for ants. This one is 24mp and 11AF points, the zoom is short but I don't really take a lot of landscape. I have reset it's focus points since taking the first trial run on those photos above, so I will have a play with it later.

I was lucky I picked up a 100mm macro lens link got it 2nd hand for £200 off Ebay but I have not had chance to play with it yet The kit lenses are good for general photography but you will notice a big difference with other lenses, but all depends on what you want :-) They still some nice pics
