Yeah. Bristol tarantulas. The one I bought was £19.99 it doesn't bother me if it was one of the baby ones or a mature. Would of been good if it was on its site. Hopefully I might get that dispatched email sometime tomorrow. Still looking forward in seeing some pictures of Pepper. You should make a sub-forum for spiders on here so we can start some journals. I have had a look at the page you ordered from, the fact that they have sexed it, indicates it will be an older spider than mine is. I'm expecting mine might be about an inch in length judging the age, but I won't know the sex of it until it molts a few times. I can't wait for the postman now, but they never come before 1pm which just happens to be the next day deadline for spiders. I will have a think about a spider board, okay if enough members keep spiders on here. Ah, Good point. Hope it's not too much of an oldie. I'd like to get at least 15+ years from it. With the possibility to mate it also. I think I'm just as excited as you are too see Pepper arrive. Last time I felt like this was when I bought my first Ant Colony I'm also very eager to get my despatched e-mail which will hopefully be today. Did you buy Livestock from their as well? Cockroaches etc?

Just found out from their Facebook page that the team members from Bristol Tarantulas are going on holidays from the 14th July.
Not happy. I've cancelled my order via PayPal explaining the dilemma. I've ordered new stock from "The Spider Shop" I had the option of getting a Spiderling of the Salmon Pink BirdEater which I'm happy about, or a Juvenile.

I have just ordered a Mexican red legged Link Should have ordered the 2 together really to save postage, but I wasn't thinking of getting another at the time. I know they are on hols for 2 weeks but I'm in no rush. I have already got live in, didn't order cockroaches as they are too big for the spider at it's present time.

A Shame really because they haven't put anything on their website that they are going away and won't be able to handle any orders for a while. Spider Shop Look good though, Spiderlings are cheap. From what I've researched. The Salmon Pink Birdeater is one of the fastest growing Arachnids. So I'd expect it to hit 7cm within a year of having it.

I'll hopefully get my new spiderling tomorrow from the spider shop. Any signs of delivery yet Jenant?

I watched my old Chilean rose molt once, she made a sort of hammock which she flipped upside-down in. She was very docile, had no issue with being held and never bit anyone. I used to let her sit on the sofa with me when I watched telly. Hope Pepper does well when s/he arrives.

I would love to get Tarantulas again, but heating and keeping live feed are issues for me at the moment. With my ants I just catch what comes natural in the garden. You guys should have a look at Archnoboards Forum. Very good for QandA's. Also a must is 'The tarantula keepers guide' book by Stan Schultz on Amazon. A brilliant all in one book, I highly recommend. Wish there was one for ants!! Enjoy your right legged friends!

Blow me, the postman arrived at 11.45. He said "Have you got a live one in there?" Whoo I'm glad to get rid of it in case it gets out", he said He also wanted to know why I wanted one! Little does he know he carries ants as well. We have done a small video, so will upload it later.

Dam, That's pretty good, Can't wait to see these molting. Might get the one that Jenant has got later on in the year. I've already forked out £40 on a heating mat and a thermostat to regulate the temperature in the storage box. Didn't expect these Arachnids to hurt my wallet!
