Hi
I am looking to buy a digital SLR camera with separate dedicated macro lens.
I have looked at various cameras and lenses on Amazon and would like your opinions. I would mainly use it for taking pictures of my ants, and I want to be able to take very good close up ones.

I have got the Sony CX450 and this range are excellent cameras, and with the added macro lens you should get really good results.

Are you going for pro of beginner range? The Nikon d3200 is great for macro, it is mainly for use of both beginner and expert.

I just after a camera that will produce decent macro pictures. I think I'll take the plunge, as they say, and order it to arrive on Monday. If it's not what I expected I can always send it back.

I'm going to get a macro lens filter for my Nikon D3200, Jen has one of the filters and it is apparently quite good I can't afford a good macro lens but the macro lens filter seems a good option. The D3200 can be bought with the 18-55mm lens as a kit. |

You've set me off Myrm,  I saw the good offers and have always wanted a good macro, so I've ordered the same Sigma lens but for my Nikon D3200SLR. It's coming sometime in the week. |
