Hi, after discovering I've actually ordered a macro telephoto zoom lens from Amazon, (I really wanted a macro) I can't be bothered to return it when it arrives as it will be better than the standard zoom lens that came with the camera. Amazon are bad for specs on their site, so when looking for a "proper close macro" I turned to Jessops for information. This Macro Lens is on Amazon too at the same price, but as I now refuse to pay the £79 again for Prime (only£49 last year), I can have the lens for next day delivery at no cost from Jessops. That's my xmas and birthdays taken care of to myself for the next 5 yrs out of my works pension pot

I certainly will, I use a camera a lot even for messing about. The only thing with SLR's, you can't get them in a pocket so you have to plan it more if you take them beyond the garden I certainly don't use the Nikon when I go out with the dogs, it is more of a slip in the pocket type then.

I have that problem with cameras but not with phone. with been bulky in pokets even small new camera's.

The new macro lens was in London at midnight, then in Fareham by 5 this morning. 15 minutes ago it was delivered by Parcelforce, so Jen is trying it out now and having fun and games as she forgot to put the SD card in her camera.

This is the Sigma Telephoto Macro lens. Just had it today, so tried it out on a fly These are very good if you can't get to close to the subject. It will take macro or normal, auto focus or manual, but I have found this tends to search on auto and manual is easier.

If you don't mind me asking
