For all you tech geeks out there I have just found the holy grail of internet speeds, 500mbps. The average is about 30mbps for most people so imagine the immense speeds it claims capable of. It claims that it can download an HD movie in 1.4 minutes and upload 200 photos in 4 seconds. All for the bargain price of $299.99 a month. Sadly it is only available in parts of the U.S and will not reach our shores for a long time to come . The Website It also has a handy speed checker to see how your internet will cope when uploading and downloading and compares it to it's own speeds.

The balance of technology and nature I wish was a good one but it can also be bad and as world keep growing and the demand for ever faster speeds in net and transport we take for granted now,
I see people seem to faze out nature more and more as a sacrifice for it . Technology if a good thing but also can be bad with the demand for it.
That price you paying is for laying more cable fibrotic down even more roads and maybe new estate's to lay cable under with a small sacrifice to nature, But that little bit that's keeps getting taken away over time ends up big.

It is hard getting the right balance between nature and technology as they virtually always clash. But I still cannot wait till fios reaches our shores, if I find someway to afford it.

My internet ranges from 270-350 mbps anyway, so I don't see why what you've found is so expensive?!

Wow, never knew that sort of speeds where possible in the UK, I believe that internet is so expensive because of the fibre optic cables they use are better than the average but are expensive, at least that is why it is so expensive. Also, the fastest provider I can find in the UK tops of at 152 mbps.
