Some nice pics there nest mate, and I must admit your Messor barb colony is doing great Makes my 2 look small as neither of my colonies have grown so large. Still, I know who to ask for advice on these ants now, as you definitely have the knack of keeping them with owning such a large healthy colony

Just feed them a mixture of meal worms, crickets and lots of canary seed. Unfortunately much of the colony has managed to get behind the plaster out of my view and the queen can't seem to make her mind up where she wants her quarters to be. think I will build a new set up this summer, I've been working on some designs.

I will have to get hold of some crickets and/or meal worms, as those Messors of yours are certainly doing well on the diet At least having a canary, I always have a good supply of mixed seeds with some dried egg yolk added. I may have to try a Messor colony of some kind in a Bug Podz set up
