Hi! Wanted to share this with you good people, hopefully some of you enjoy! Last year I went to tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium. The festival itself is great and I would really like to recommend anyone who's into electronic music to go there, but what I'd like to zone in on is the technology they used. All participants received wristbands which you apparantly connect to facebook and whatnot for friend requests. Well, this was not all it was used for. It also had a couple of built in LED's. How they used this was amazing. I can only assume the technology was some low power IPv6 technology. When someone would play music on the main stage all the wristbands could receive information on when and how to flash. The result - a fantastic show making the audience part of the effects. For every blue light in the crowd = a wrist band. Also, slightly over use of fireworks - but what a great light show. Like new years eve little brother :-)
