While photographing ants having honey water water for breakfast this morning, Jenny also made 3 videos of them. The first shows our Camponotus nicobarensis feasting on the sweet liquid; and the other 2 are of our C. habereri, which are also gorging on honey water.

I know this is a few years late, but this is really pushing me toward choosing nicobarensis as my next colony! If you can remember, did you make their bowl or where did you get it from? I like it!

The feeding bowl came from AntKit who have now ceased selling, but you can buy similar types on some sites which sell ant keeping equipment and formicariums. Link for ant feeding bowl open here.

Still doing all my searching, but will have to check it out! I couldn't help myself even from hospital and purchased a few small bits such as water tower, etc from Aliexpress! I guess I have the bug (mind the pun!)

Thank you! Will check it out. Etsy is still new to me, but seems a great way to get ant keeping accessories
