That is the best descriptive guide I have read yet You have thought out every stage and covered it with a photo. This is the sort of visual guide I would need, if I was to make one I like the miniature building site Luke This is a good time of year now to think and chat about formicariums, as the ants are going into hibernation and leave ant keepers with idle hands.

Luke, well done mate! That is a most eloquent bit of descriptive writing, and certainly makes the process of making this kind of set up very easy to follow

Anyone have a new link to this? I am in need of a good source of information for my daughter and I have to build her first ant habitat. Sounds like a fun and educational home school project. Thank you

brilliant links and data Thank you very much! I think I have our plan now. We have a table we have fish, a turtle, sea monkeys, and a small ant set up. It has an inset top I made years ago. I think I will remove a corner of the top and make an inset for it that will be the chambers. Thanks again! I will take a picture if it works lol.
