Exactly 30 years ago today, in my home town of Macclesfield in the English county of Cheshire, Jen and I tied the knot and married. It does not seem like 30 years since we did this, as time has certainly flown by so fast. Tempus fugit as the ancient Romans would say, as "time flies" by all too quick sadly. To celebrate this occasion we spent the day sitting in the sun, eating chips and looking at the sea down in the seaside town of Bognor Regis here in West Sussex. Instead of wine we had a bottle of Lucozade to wash our meal down, and while it may not be everyone's idea of how to spend a special day, we both enjoyed it Luckily with the Indian Summer we are having in Britain right now, the day was really very warm and a lot nicer than the day we got married back in 1979, which was bitterly cold and cloudy. After such a good day out, it's nice to get back home though, put our feet up and have a cup of tea, as there's no place like home when you've been away shopping ;D

Congratulations Jen and Wood. Thirty years together that is just so wonderful.
I try not to bring my religous conviction into non religion related forums but I will just say "the only thing we can bring over to the next forever life are our relationships". Good relationships are forever.
Congrats.

Many thanks for your nice words Quah, as Jen and I may not always have the perfect relationship, life not always being a bed of roses as the saying goes; but I believe that I found my soul-mate with her, and if there is an after life or reincarnation, I think we may well be together for all of time hopefully I don't mind telling everyone that I love her to bits, and just enjoy having her around
