A Tibetan monk has discovered a new ant nesting on the lower slopes of the Himalayas. It is covered in small blue hairs and looks very much like a blueberry when first seen. It has been suggested that this ant be named Formicus Vaccinium uliginosum, as no other ant has been found anywhere which looks like it in shape or colour. Vaccinium uliginosum is the Latin name for Blueberry. It would appear to be hairy to protect it from the cold winds of the Himalayan mountains, but the blue colouration of the hairs remain a mystery

Well it was rather an elaborate April Fool's joke on my part, but you guys have to admit that this hoax did sound plausible; and as new ant species are being discovered all the time in remote parts of the world, it may just be possible that a blue ant may be found one day ;D It was a joke of course, so I hope nobody gets upset by this little prank of mine
