How do ants control the humidity and temperature inside the ant world? Looks a little steamy :/ They don't, as in captivity they cannot make air venting tunnels which are open to the air. You may need to allow a fresh air flow by opening the lid a few seconds each day to let more air in, or what I sometimes do is use a bit of kitchen towel to wipe away any condensation. Simply put a bit between some tweezers, or try using a cotton bud.
