OK, its been a long time but I finally have a chance of work... This is it, just sitting, literally, on the phone waiting for someone to ring about a job.
I had a cracking interview, I have all the qualifications so is this the open door for me!!!

I had a cracking interview, I have all the qualifications so is this the open door for me!!! Best of luck. Employers often look for work experience also. voluntary for example in that specific department. Heck, I'm still doing voluntary work at a computer shop by me because I can't find work. I hate not doing nothing

When are they letting you know by Stu? The thing I find with employers these days is, they don't have to let you know, if you haven't got the job This leaves people in limbo, it's not fair, if they are turning you down, they should say so as they always used to when I was younger.

I got it, confirmation came this morning woohooo. I had to drive to Leeds to do a PTTLS3 micro-teach, and I believe that went well! So finally things are looking rosy! I am going to take my time, keep my head down (the proverbial way as it is a sales job) and get on with it!

And yes, business's SHOULD let you know one way or another. I will be honest, only one or two have done that to me. For me the worst are the ones who you apply to and they don't even acknowledge your application (nature or the internetverse).
I suffer from anxiety and I get myself worked up. When I work it disappears (I am worried about being left on the scrap heap!).

Congratulations Stu, well done. I was the opposite in my job at the end, couldn't wait to finish, 30 years psychiatric nursing was enough.
