This colony are moving around a bit,
Seems they have split in to 2 groups like the F.Lemani colony but this time to bottom right.
Colony seem to be on a small boost and roaming around a lot. around 70+ small workers in this colony. =================== ===================

This colony seem to have gone in to hibernation so I'll not update this as much till they become more active.
Colony numbers seem same and queens are still laying eggs but not as many and the larvae seem tobe living on the queens and colony reserves.

Colony numbers seem around same and not much activity. Still in a semi hibernation and think next week I may try and put a little peat or sand in there.

Colony numbers seems to be falling. And time to put in something a little dark just for queens to roost.
And hope in a month the numbers start to go up.

Numbers in this colony seem to to be keeping at around 20 which is confusing me for Lasius flavus which numbers should be a lot higher by now. Anyhow this small colony are doing fine in there home of moss and heres a small video of them in a open set up having a little sun as I video them before putting them back away on top of my lizard's tank and also with it been summer added a summer fest song to video.

Sad news today about this colony and a lesson learned with keeping lid off and unwelcome room gests.
Today I was going to film a video of this colony but with shock both of queens was missing with only the workers that was unsettled which by workers I should have known something was wrong when they was away from there queen.
I looked though every inch of there moss nest and nothing then I noticed a fine web leading out of foraging tank and I followed it down back of my lizards tank and to my horror the queens faint casters was in a spiders bit of web
The spider was a big'ish house spider which I fed to my messor's but sadly this colony won't be updated is cos of leaving lid off tank. But dint expect this to happen with a spider .
