It is rare, but sometimes a member will become invisible on the forum for reasons known best to themselves. Please be aware that while you are not seen by other members of the forum, staff can still see you when you're logged into the forum. You can still post while you are invisible, and other members will be able to read your posts.

It means that only the staff will know you are logged in and other members will not.

This option has no real benefit only to hide from other members, a bit pointless once you have posted though. The whole purpose of being on a forum is to be part of a community. The invisible option I can remove, if it gets over used.

The invisable option I can remove, if it gets over used. To be honest I don't see the point of it either. It's a handy tool for the admin to have but other than that it's not required. Why would a non-staff member want to hide themselves when any post they make whilst invisible will immediately be seen by all.

Never used it myself but I've seen users who do. Just remember that our admin is omniscient. There is no hiding from her.
