While working in Kansas city Missouri I found this queen in a movie theatre parking lot. On the move back home her brood was killed in an accident. Not wanting to lose her I took a friends advice and boosted her with camponotus vicinus pupae. She accepted the pupae and is now in diapause with 5 workers. Hoping she thrives

Hi Tony, happy new year I was sitting here quietly, no sound in the living room and I jumped out of my skin when you said HELLO, my sound was full on, on my tablet at the time I can see why the family say keep it in, it gets a good reaction it's always more interesting to here members talk on videos but members can be shy at doing it. Great video I hope they do well for 2015.

Having some issues with brood. All the larave spun cocoons why still very small. Smaller than a Camponotus nanitic even. All the small workers die soon after enclosing. No idea why?
