Yesterday I clicked on the window app to see what or how long it entailed and clicked off again. Last night it decided start downloading off its own bat, and in one of the papers there was an article about Windows doing its own thing We stopped it as it was getting late so we thought. Today however, we discovered it didn't stop last night at all, but had finished its download to the computer anyway. Clicking the icon again just initiated it into the "Upgrading Windows" part with a message telling you to sit back and relax as the upgrade will contain several restarts. It's doing about 1% a minute so its going to take forever. We might be up all night yet, as I don't trust these things. I hope it is worth it and the computer retains the files I want. Windows 10 is going to become just Windows eventually with subscription upgrades.

Just updated to Windows 10 myself and it only took 20 mins My computer, ironically, didn't want to automatically update at all so I manually forced the process by using some neat CMD commands. It is much faster than Windows 7 and I've got nothing negative to say about it yet.

1.30 hours later its done. I like it and it appears better than Windows 8.1. Great to have the Start Window back again in the left corner, they said they were bringing it back on public demand. Time now to go and find everything

I've read that the start menu is only really good as long as you have less than 500 programs. Otherwise it won't search for any programs in the start menu or something. Could be a problem for me there...

You just go in settings and search for the programme you want and up it comes. Something's are annoying, like the photos used to go to my pictures in the 8 now it takes 3 or 4 movements to get them in there. The video software got all messed up the other day, it refused to use it so we have had to go a different route to get the video on to the computer. It's just annoying when you have everything running smooth and then it gets messed up, as I am not the most computer literate of people, I'm the wrong generation for that Edge wants to be the main one too, it doesn't like you having other browsers around, but I ignore the pop ups. I think in the long term Windows are going to be the virus, as they want to know where you go and what you do

I like Windows 10, but I am not a fan of MS Edge.

Either way, I'll be waiting to see some long term reviews of it before I update, or maybe even wait until I get another computer or something.
