Tuesday commemorates WW2 with a flypast from Goodwood just up the road here. They will be flying 40 Spitfires, hurricanes etc all across Southern England. They have been fuelling up this afternoon and practicing over our roof Here are the routes www.battleofbritainday.co.uk/#!routes/c1px click on the routes to find which way they will fly.

Yes, they're leaving here from 12 midday, in 10 groups 4 mins apart. They have been droning around all day today, but Goodwood Revival is on this weekend, and the flyover is after that on Tuesday. No peace here for a bit, 2 of the spits have been diving at some speed over our estate. Dayshaddow, they are coming your way too hold onto your hat

Wish they were near me! I would love to see that but I will have to watch videos instead. Nice to see a united effort to remember such a historic event!

There is going to be a big flight of WW2 British and American fighters this morning and afternoon, as well as a huge Battle of Britain event today, so it will get a bit noisy later over our home; but a perfect chance to video the planes if they come close enough? I woke up to a single Spitfire buzzing around our estate with its engine popping, so we hope no disasters happen like they have done at other air displays, as these old aircraft are getting to be quite rare these days with most of them being 75 years old.
