hi all I hope you enjoyed my other post. I forgot to ask, but before I got the queen in the big jar she came from Manchester. Now when I set off I had put 2 queens in the same bottle and when I arrived 2 hours down the road to Middlesbrough, there was only 1 queen in the bottle and it was fully sealed. do you think the queen I got now completely ate her because there's no other explanation I can think of. even the wings are gone because the queen that disappeared had wings. I suppose if she did that's good, because that means she didn't need nothing to eat for awhile lol while she is laying eggs (for my tea) and welcome to the forum folks.

Hi there peeps,
It may of course be possible that your missing ant has actually burried herself (thats assuming that it had earth in it). Otherwise, she could be directly under the lid hiding. ;D
