Yes it has been on tv, but they don't repeat it that often not even for sky A very good documentary, one worth watching.

Thanks for posting, I have not seen this documentary before, it was very good. I liked that set up in the lab! Yer it's good, I watched it again the other night. Check out the ants that can swim in the carnivorous plant! Almost like life can adapt to anything.

I never miss any documentaries about ants, no matter what TV channel they are on. Either I watch them all many times over, or if there is one I haven't seen before and that we might miss for some reason, then I record it. It always amazes me how they get such great underground close up shots of ants inside the nest, as speaking as an amateur video maker I have had problems filming ants in the wild, either by getting stung, sprayed with formic acid, or just having lots of angry ants all over my hands and on the camcorder lens. Ants will fearlessly have a go at anything much larger than themselves, and the strap on a camera/camcorder makes for a target they can't resist as they are also very inquisitive.
