Sitting in the house tonight when there was this really loud rumbling noise, that shook the house, thinking that a car had maybe ran into the next door house, I went and looked out both front and back doors, but nothing, my daughter was convinced it was the TV, but it turned out that most of the east coast of Scotland felt it and others actually seen a really bright light in the sky, so I can say that this is most definitely the first and probably (hopefully ) the last experience of what is believed to of been a meteor, it freaks me out more every time I think about it.

Would have liked to see that even thought as long as it was well away and over sea but if a rock meatia like a small dropped say in your garden did you know they can be over a million or more qounds cos they that rare and scientists will pay anything for them.

I am just glad it went over, hate to think what damage it would of cause, just way it shook the house was scary enough.

That sounds thrilling and terrifying at the same time. Like Shane said, I'd love to watch a meteor falling...from a distance.

When you think it was a very large meteor than made the dinosaurs become extinct, the last thing we want is a lump of rock hitting us. Even one the size of a fist could demolish a house and cause a lot of damage. I am so glad nobody got hurt and hopefully it did no major damage where it hit?

Apparently it exploded as it entered, but may mean some smaller fragments have hit somewhere, hopefully as you say not causing damage.
