Back in the 1970's when I used to go driving around Herefordshire in my car, I would often have the radio playing. On the very first day I found wood ants (Formica rufa) in Haugh Wood about 7 miles from the old city, Abba were singing this song on the radio. Ever since that day it has always reminded me of my first find of wood ants back in 1978. The song was "Knowing me, knowing you" which has stuck for some reason all these years. Odd really as the lyrics have nothing to do with ants, but about the break up of a relationship.

I don't really have a song for Ant Hunting but I DO have a song which celebrates the joy and power of the Ant. Will that do?
