It would be nice to be able to see the ant formicaries board even if not connected so people when searching on google for help they could find the forum. I wanted to show a friend my journal and he couldnt view it he hadnt the rights, I think opening those could help the forum

I wanted to show a friend my journal and he couldnt view it he hadnt the rights, I think opening those could help the forum Members can access these boards, and visitors can see them. If guests want to have access they need to join the forum and become an active member. If we open up too many boards then it doesn't encourage guests to join, but Jenny will consider your suggestion.

Majority of the forums boards are displayed on the front for guests so they are aware what we offer. However, you get the "I don't have to bother to join now, because I can read stuff anyway" senario if the forum is fully open. The boards do get changed around for guests reading on the inside, but the popular ones like current journals don't. All they have to do is register and do an introduction post, not too much to ask really, to keep a forum alive. Due to the awful "Facebook" and read for the moment but not long term craze, a lot of forums are dying off. We need to encourage people to join up and participate as a community, so opening boards for full guest reading won't achieve that. I have opened up 3 more boards this morning.
