Ants thriving in my collection

I currently have 16 ant colonies, 15 of which are either thriving or doing well; and 1 colony that so far isn't doing. The 15 that are all have brood and egg laying queens, with good healthy workers and new ones being added on a regular basis.
It is actually better for me to update journals on these colonies than it is to comment on ants which aren't doing well. I am thankful to those who offer advice, and welcome any comments on any of the ants I am currently keeping, so please do feel free to post on all of my journals and ask questions or advice comments, as you might suggest stuff I haven't done or considered doing for my ants.

I haven't listed my colonies here, as members can see what I keep from reading my journal diaries, so just post directly on the journals of the ants you want to know about or offer help with.

I got home yesterday from a weeks holiday in Wales, and all my ant colonies are fine despite not being fed for the last 9 days. Today I will be giving them a good drink of honey water, and those ants that have larvae will get a mealworm. It just shows that ants are adaptable and can survive if you can't feed them for several days or more, as long as you feed them well if you're away for a short holiday.

This year my 4 biggest colonies have all grown larger. They are Camponotus nicobarensis, Camponotus pseudo irritans, Camponotus nicobarensis and Camponotus cruentatus. All my medium sized colonies are doing fine also. The smaller ones with 10 or less workers are more likely to fail, especially if they have no brood.
