TenebrousNova took these photos of our 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and our canary on his recent visit. This girl is Bess.  This is Katy who is just 2 months older than Bess.  Pip our canary who chirps a lot when I make videos of my ants.

That Bess is an attention craving little monster! If I tried stroking Katie, she'd immediately get between me and her. She certainly is, but Katy can be dominant when she wants to. Katy likes the quiet life and to be treated as a royal princess, and Bess is more active and constantly demands attention indoors. Outside however they are both a bit of a handful, but in different ways. |

Katy is 6 today, and Jenny and I wish her a happy birthday and hope she will be with us for more years to come. The breed lives for 13 years on average, so she is about halfway through her life.
