meat like beef ,chickin ,lamb. or would it harm them.

You need to cut meat up tiny, and try them on it for a few hours. Poultry especially grows bacteria very quickly and goes off, as do other meats at room temperature. Meat must be kept at under 5C (Hence problems with Turkey @ Xmas ) Bits of tuna or even bits of cat food have been used in the past, these have a longer shelf life. You need to experiment, as we can say they will eat some meats, and you might find that yours do not Also take into account ants are now hibernating (UK Species), and therefore do not need the food....

I've tried chicken with most of my ants, they pick at it for a day or two before it starts to go fluffy
