All right bad boys of the ant hill, , I just thought I would post a picture of this new ant home which is in the making, for my little Lasius niger colony, its a bit big for them but I'm sure they will grow into it . I was just wondering, would normal plaster do to pour for the mould??? www.ross.rdc-tec.co.uk/Picture%20001.jpgRossyD!

Like your formicarium Ross, your pic is way too big for the forum, so I have taken it back to an url. Pics need to be no bigger than about 7inches, and you need to reduce them on windows editor By the way, there are female ants in here as well

errrrrrrm good question lol I'm nooot to sure. if it sets I might be able to pull it out then get the clay out and put it back in....... modify : I could rub it all with vaseline before I put the plaster in, then I can just pull it out.

I've found also that if you allow water to seep between the dried plaster and the glass it comes away easier use a small screw driver to help leaver it from the glass BE VERY GENTLE THOUGH. .
