Can people keep termites? I keep bees, ants and a wild wasp colony but I want termites!

You keep a wasp colony?? Amazing. I'd be too scared to even go near it. Granted it is wild, but still.

I had a wasp colony, but I was so terrified of it I never fed it and it died (was captive).

Can people keep termites? You can keep any living creature, it is just a matter of can you provide the correct living conditions for them to live long and prosper (if you'll pardon my Star Trek's Mister Spock quote ). You would probably need a specialized set up, and even then you could only maintain a small colony, just like you wouldn't keep a whale in a fish tank meant for goldfish. Most termite colonies grow to have millions of individuals, so space could be a problem.

All my ant colonies are growing to grow to millions of individuals too, so that could be said the same with ants. I have heard people of keeping termites before, don't know too much. I haven't heard of anyone keeping wasps so. Also bees you can keep, but its expensive to start out with and need a lot of equipment to use. Termites and ants are the easiest to keep.
