Hi, To help each other and the companies, in the purchase of ants, please rate your experiences and perhaps give some feedback on your past and present purchases. Your feedback also helps to improve their service to us the customer, and may well go towards giving ants improved care in transit. This poll is for "Antsectopia" only! Many Thanks Jenant

Excellent service and delivery. Good value for money, and colonies in top condition and packaged very well on arrival. Great communication and nothing too much trouble. This company is run by Ade a member here, will do their best to get you what you want. I would buy from this company every time

What can I say, except that all the ant colonies I bought from Ade (who is also a member of this forum) at Antsectopia have been the best purchases ever made. They arrive in very healthy condition, well protected and packaged; and the price you pay includes free delivery in the UK. Highly recommended company from which I would most certainly buy ants from in the future, and he does get some very cool, interesting ant species in stock too

The only thing that annoys about antsectopia (and antstore) Is the fact that they get some rare exotic species of ant are a special colony with like a colony of a thousand, are a large colony which they will never sell again they don't remove it from their stock list. When I first found out about antstore and antsectopia I was really happy as I thought I had loads of ants to pick from, but in the end I had only 6 types to choose from and I got really annoyed. Edu-sci takes its out of stock off the stock list. But apart from that its an brilliant company. ;D

I have spoken to Antstore before and they say they keep them on because they might get them in the future, eg Atta sexdens they did not have about a month or two ago, but it would be better if shops could put an estimated date on when they would have them. Antsectopia tho I don't know why they still have their "Cerapachys biroi" since I don't think I've ever seen them in stock lol, but I am still waiting for P.diversus which he said he should get soon Ever if they did like kalytta does where he has what he thinks he will have and another bit called "long term not available" so at least you now what he will not have in any time soon.

I must admit it is rather frustrating to see a list of ants not in stock, as you think the seller has a lot to offer; but when you check out the site, it only has a certain amount of stock on sale Perhaps what the site owners should do is only list the actual stock numbers they have, so instead of saying something like 40, it would read as the correct figure that they have in stock for that particular month I am sure we'd all prefer to buy the species a seller has rather than be downhearted thinking we can buy ants that are not available. This applies to all ant sellers of course, as I'm not just singling out antsectopia, and to be honest Ade is very nice and will take all comments about his site (good or bad) into consideration, as the ants he sells are always top notch He is already thinking about getting some good quality ant set ups to sell, so let's see what he may say

You are right ades ants are very good but still, I wish he would take the ants he doesn't have on stock away. I think antsectopia are better than edu-sci in every way and antstore as well. I know antstore supply stock to edu-sci but do they supply stock to antsectopia?

as far as I can see Antsectopia do not actually have any ants in stock at all at the minute.

He did up until late October. It is the middle of Winter and it is harder to get ants. In August he had like 12 ants in stock.

I am afraid to report that I shall probably not be using antsectopia ever again.
Ordered their BOGOF on the Camponotus cruentatus last week - was told "no later than Thursday".
We are now on Monday and after quite a few ignored emails I finally get a reply saying "your order is being processed" Not even so much as a Sorry, or its in the post or we have ran out, just processing.
Not overly impressed with their (lack of) customer services!

Not overly impressed with their (lack of) customer services! I know why this is happening, and it has to do with the fact that Adrian (guy who runs the company) is out of the country until mid December. His wife is dealing with sending out ants, and from experience I find she answers emails rather slowly, whereas Adrian does so quickly within days. It's also a bad time for ordering ants in the post, as some sellers don't like to send ants during winter in case they arrive dead. Still I see your point of view Buzz, as ant sellers should give a good service if they want to keep their customers

and for me to get that information from here should make Adrian cry in his hands From the previous reports in this thread it looks like this is the odd time and not the norm, just a shame someone from their end could not pass on the info Oh well..................

I think this company is run from a house and the ants are maybe kept in a shed or something You probably would have had better service if Ade had been there
